Retail Operation Solutions & Support (ROSS) is an integral part of Core Business Franchise and consists of a team of people with passion for retail and competence in business and technology. We are moving into a new chapter with an ambition to  provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated into IKEA value chain and supporting the omnichannel IKEA Concept. Job description

About the role

As ROSS Manager you will lead the Retail Operation Solutions & Support organisation on a digital transformation journey aiming to provide an omnichannel retail package.

One of your primary responsibilities is to lead and develop a management team of high performing leaders who inspire and empower co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments.

You are responsible for the overall department goal setting, budget, and results and will also represent the organisation in decision and strategic forums as member of the IKEA Expansion management team.

You will work in close cooperation with franchisees and be in regular contact with the retail managers of these markets to understand their situation and needs. You will also work closely together with peers across the totality of Core Business Franchise and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer


Qualification

About you

We are looking for an experienced senior leader who is passionate about developing people and business in an omnichannel environment. Ideally, you have  5+ years of experience from senior leadership positions in a digital environment with a good understanding of digital development and operations.

We believe that you are  someone who can build trustful relationships with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees and facilitates collaboration across Inter IKEA Group, holding things together even when they get complex or unclear.  You enjoy working in a high paced environment and you have a proven ability to lead, coach, challenge and support people to grow.

You lead people with IKEA values and you bring an in-depth understanding and recent experience of the IKEA business throughout the value chain. You are structured and you always follow through. You take responsibility, support others and deliver your work with a sense of urgency.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are some of the qualities you bring with you and working with many different people together across the world gives you a lot of energy.

Your curious and positive nature helps you to actively acquire new knowledge and skills, using them to champion new methods and processes to improve how things are done and delivered. And you are passionate about enabling ‘a better everyday life’ through technology, digital innovation and people.


More Information

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. There may be some international travel required for this role. You will report to the IKEA Expansion Manager.
